Digital learning program: Prevention of sexual harassment
We all have a role to play in preventing and responding to sexual harassment and creating a respectful workplace culture.
It’s important that every worker understands how to recognise sexual harassment and what to do if they experience or witness it. This digital learning program, developed by the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission, will help your team understand workplace equality and prevent sexual harassment.
The program aims to give your team the knowledge and skills they need to comply with the positive duty under the Equal Opportunity Act – which requires employers to not just deal with sexual harassment if it occurs, but to proactively stop it from happening in the first place. It also helps workplaces comply with the minimum standards to prevent and respond to sexual harassment.
